12/7/07 (9:09 a.m.) The Light Up Senoia Parade was the place to be last Saturday
to witness the debut of TwirlzGirls. TwirlzGirls are Fayette County girls
aged 6-10 years old who are learning the fundamentals of baton, dance and
parade twirl routines. Former Georgia Tech Feature Twirler and National
Twirl Competitor Michelle Hazelton commented, "Baton twirling is a great
sport to encourage fitness, eye hand coordination, confidence, and of
course, lots of fun."
