Peachtree City Seeks Volunteers for Development Authority
1/11/08 (9:19 p.m.) The City of Peachtree City is seeking volunteers for three
seats on the Development Authority of Peachtree City (DAPC). The DAPC fosters
the development of new and existing business and industry in Peachtree City in
an effort to stimulate economic growth and broaden the communitys tax base.
The Chairman of the Development Authority of Peachtree City also serves on the
Fayette County Development Authority. The board consists of seven volunteer
members who serve four-year terms.
Applications for these volunteer positions are available on the
Citys web site,
www.peachtree-city.org , under the Jobs page. Development Authority
applications are due to City Hall by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 1.
Applicants must have lived in Peachtree City for at least 6 months.
