Fellow Fayette County Georgia Commissioner Robert
Horgan was arrested for possession of marijuana in May 2009.
He was driving a work vehicle with an expired tag, the
reason he was initially pulled over. He subsequently
admitted to smoking pot while driving. He and his fellow
Commissioners are under fire by many in the County. An
ethics violation has been filed against Horgan and citizens
have banded together to begin a recall action. In this video

Fayette County Commissioner Robert Horgan was arrested for possession of marijuana and cited for driving a vehicle with an expired tag on May 23. When pulled over he first denied having anything illegal in his truck, then gave permission for a search in which a pill bottle was discovered under his car seat containing marijuana (under one ounce). Horgan admitted to smoking marijuana while driving. After being arrested Horgan asked one of the Deputies "Is there anything that we could do to resolve this right here, right now?". | ||
