New Community Men's Bible Study
1/28/08 (7:31 a.m.) A new community-based Men's Bible
Study has formed in the Fayetteville area, led by Minister Adrian Lovingood.
The study will meet Thursday nights a 7:30 PM at

Methodist Church to Offer DivorceCare
12/27/07 (8:33 p.m.) DivorceCare is a 13-week session for those going
through divorce transition. We offer help in dealing with emotional pain
and sorting out the realities of divorce situations, with emphasis on
finding ways to cope and heal toward a better life. Sessions include a
video featuring top experts and discussions relating to your life. You
will gain valuable resources to help you rebuild your life. Classes begin
on Wed. Jan. 9th from 6:30 to 8:00pm in room 306 in our Worship Center

completing the purchase of the property and building at 777 Robinson Road,
Peachtree City, Georgia from Landmark Christian School, Southside Church

Summit Presbyterian Serves as Host Site for Angel Food Ministries
4/10/08 (4:22 p.m.) The Summit Presbyterian Church
is a host site for Angel Food Ministries. This is a food service at an
economical price. A $30.00 box of food feeds a family of four for a
week. The orders are taken on the first of each month and the food
distribution is usually on the second Saturday . There is no

Orthodox Christians worldwide on Sunday, April 27. Locally, St.
Christopher Hellenic (Greek) Orthodox Church offers a variety of Lenten
Services throughout the Easter season. On Friday, April 11, the
Akathist Hymn will be held at 7:00 PM at the church which is located at
313 Dividend Drive in Peachtree City. On Wednesday, April 16, Service of
the 9th Hour and Pre-Sanctified Liturgy will take place at 6:30PM,
followed by a Lenten Dinner and Study Program. April 19, the Saturday

Dogwood Church Breaks
Ground on New Building
11/6/07 (6:46 a.m.) Sunday, November 4th, launched a new
adventure for Dogwood Church in Tyrone, GA. Celebration Journey was a grand
event for this growing congregation. They came together in one special hour
of praise and prayer for God’s faithfulness and blessings launching into
their next phase of development on the church campus. A new administrative
building begins construction this month to house the church offices.
According to Keith Moore, Senior Pastor of Dogwood Church, “We are in a
multi-year process of developing a church campus that will maximize our
capacity to fulfill the mission God has given to us. Following our
administrative building, Lord willing, we will start the next phase of
construction, which will include worship and children’s facilities, in the
summer of 2008.”

Way of Life Community Church Presents the 2008 Tyrone Back to School

5/9/08 (7:32 a.m.) Triangle Park on July 26 from 11 a.m.
to 3:30 p.m. The festivities will include all day fun for kids including
moonwalks and face painting, there will be drawings for great prizes and
several grand prizes, lots of music and fun with a local DJ, a variety of
vendors providing food at a nominal cost, and more! The great part about
this event is that there will be no charge to the public!
4/24/08 (8:37 a.m.) Shepherd’s Flock Singers will
present a children’s musical, “Elijah,” at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran
Church, Peachtree City, on Sunday, April 27, at 6:00 p.m. The musical
tells stories from the life of one of the great prophets through drama and
music. Shepherd’s Flock Singers are in grades 2-5. Their director is Andi
Laaker; technical director is Cathy Moore. Pastoral Intern Pauline Pezzino,
Kathy Zimmerman, and Cherise Quamme lead Cherub Choir, whose members will
portray ravens who bring bread to Elijah. Accompanists will be Joyful
Noise Ringers and keyboardist David Beecher. Shepherd’s Flock Ringers and
Chimers will play the prelude. Other leaders are Lisa deFrances, Jean
Dohany, Linda Grabill, Lynn Kalinke, and Edie Eickemeyer, Director of
Christian Education. The public is invited; the church is at the corner of
Hiway 54 and Peachtree Parkway.
4/22/08 (6:37 p.m.) Lutheroad Day Camp comes to Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran
Church in Peachtree City from June 9 – 13. Cost is $125 for the week (9
AM – 4 PM Mon-Thurs, 9-12 on Fri) for children currently in grades K –
4th. Day camp is a unique blend of outdoor ministry and congregational
ministry staffed by counselors from Lutheridge + Lutherock Ministries. The camp
staff brings their enthusiasm, curriculum, schedule and leadership abilities,
and serve as positive Christian role models. The program will include fun!,
worship, games, Bible study, fellowship, crafts, sharing and prayer. Contact

4/4/08 (11:24 p.m.) The Vatican International Exhibit of the
Eucharistic Miracles will be on display at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic High
School from April 14 – April 18 during the school day. The Vatican developed an
exhibition that includes an extensive assortment of photographs and historical
descriptions of miracles where the Host has bled or a Host has transformed into
flesh and wine into blood. The Serra Club of Metro Atlanta has acquired a set of
the Exhibit panels and has made them available to Our Lady of Mercy to display.
Stop by and experience the Miracles God has provided to increase our

Flat Rock AME Church located at 148 Old Chapel Lane, Fayetteville,
Georgia will have it's Annual Usher's Anniversary on Sunday April
13, 2008 at 2:30 pm. Dinner will be served for all between 1:00 and
2:00 pm.
Reverend Milton Reeves, Pastor of Rising Star Baptist Church of
Fayetteville, Georgia will bring the message for the afternoon
Worship Service. Flat Rock AME and Rising Star Baptist Church

North Fayette United Methodist Church will be held on Saturday, April
26th from 8 am-2pm. They will have yard sale items, a story-teller, and
will be taking pictures of families, children, and pets. There will be
BBQ for sale, kiddie events, a book sale, art displayed, motorcycles
displayed, and more. All the proceeds will go to missions and activities
