presented by Fayette County Parks and Recreation; 4
DAY CAMP intended to promote the growth of youth lacrosse in the Fayette
County area: Session 1 designed for beginners that want to have fun
learning the fastest growing sport in the
country. A basic introduction to the sport of Lacrosse. (Equipment will be
provided)
Session II designed for experienced players, athletes
will focus on individual instruction and team
games. (Players should plan on bringing all equipment that is needed, some
extra equipment may be available)
Location: Multi-purpose field at McCurry Park
Dates: July 30 – Aug 2
Times: Session 1 (beginners) 8:00 am -10:00 am
Session 11 (experienced) 10:30am – 1:00 pm
$70 per session, per person

5/30/08 (8:02 a.m.) First Presbyterian Kindergarten and
Preschool in Peachtree City is currently registering children ages 3 - 5 for
the SUMMER FUNDAYS program. Summer Fundays will be held June 2 - 6 and July
7 - 11 from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. The cost for each week is $100. Children

Early Bird Discounts Offered for
PTC Summer Camps!
Summer is in the air!? Well not
exactly, but the Peachtree City Parks and Recreation
Department is offering Early Bird Discounts for some
of their very popular camps for 5 days only. These
camps include Camp McIntosh (ages 6-11), Teen Fusion
Trip Camp (ages 11-14), and Camp MacAttackular Trip
Camp (ages 7-11). The discount is $20 for each week
you sign up for! This discount is valid for online
registration only and you must register online between
4/15 and 4/19 to receive the discount!
Once you enter the website click on the
"Online Registration" link on the left hand side.
Camp McIntosh runs through most of the
summer, (with the exception of July 4th week) and the
camp hours have been extended this year! Camp is held
from 9am-3:30pm Monday through Friday. Campers swim
at Glenloch pool three days a week, and go on trips on
Tuesdays and Thursdays of each week. Trips are
included in the early bird price of $120 for Fayette
County Residents. This years trips include: Six
Flags, Stone Mountain, Whitewater, Wild Animal Safari,
Center for Puppetry Arts and many more!

6/13/08 (7:35 a.m.) Summertime fun for children 4 - 14! The 3
time state dance champions, McIntosh High School Chiefettes,
will
host their 15th annual mini dance summer camps from 9 a.m. -
noon on June 16 - 20 at the McIntosh High School gym and from
July 14 - 18 at the JC Booth Middle School gym (a performance
recital will be held on the Friday of each session at 5:30 p.m.)
Participants will be broken into small groups and learn the
fundamentals of hip hop and jazz. A different choreographed
routine will be taught at each session. Cost is $100 and
participants will receive a t-shirt, snacks and a recital gift.

Summit Presbyterian VBS Registration
Children ages 4 - 12 are invited to join us June 16 - 20
from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. for a week of adventure, fun, and learning.
The theme is "IT'S IN THE BAG!" and each day Summit's bag will open to reveal
exciting activities for the children. A sneak peek reveals
a watermelon seed spitting contest, creating T-shirts, playing in the
dirt, fishing at a local lake, and water activities. Have fun while
hearing God's word and learning ways to apply it.
Lunch will be provided, free of charge, each day. Transportation can
be arranged for children, if needed.
