Fayette County Parks and Recreation Seeking
Instructors
1/2/08 (11:20 a.m.) The Fayette County Parks and Recreation Department is seeking
talented, motivated instructors to teach summer programs.
Camp Instructor – Day Camps (Several positions)
Plans, schedules and implements activities, including games, sports and crafts
for youth ages 6-11 (or teens ages 12-15), for one or more Day Camp(s) with a
particular specialty or theme such as art, science, nature, sports, drama, and
more. Camps will be offered May 27 – August 8. Each camp is held for one week
(typically Monday – Friday) from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. (or 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.). Must be
18 years +. High school graduate preferred. Applicants must be able to document
successful work with youth.
Program Instructor (several Positions)
Do you have a special talent, skill or hobby to teach…? WE NEED YOU! The
Fayette County Parks and Recreation Department is seeking talented, motivated
instructors to teach in all program areas: TODDLERS, CHILDREN, TEENS, ADULTS,
OUTDOOR / NATURE, CULTURAL ARTS, MUSIC, SPORTS / FITNESS, EDUCATIONAL /
ENRICHMENT, AND SPECIAL INTEREST.
