3/1/08 (6:30 p.m.) The Area Agency on Aging at the Atlanta
Regional Commission is pleased to announce the launch of its educational
session, “Mapping Your Future Your Way…” The session is a comprehensive look
at preparing for retirement based on the governor’s initiative to heighten
awareness about the importance of lifelong planning. The event will be held on
March 6 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Fayette Senior Services, located at 4 Center
Drive in Fayetteville. The session includes information about possible
long-term care costs and sound financial strategies.
“Mapping Your Future Your Way” also introduces topics,
including information on housing, work and leisure activities, volunteerism,
health and wellness and relationships. A value-added take-home tool to test
individuals’ preparedness for retirement is also included in the session.
