Fayette Senior Services (FSS) is a non-profit
501(c)(3) organization that provides a broad scope of life-enhancing
services to Fayette County residents age 50 and better. We’re
passionate about positive aging and we offer individuals an
opportunity to be involved in a variety of health and wellness,
social, leisure and educational activities. The organization also
provides programs that meet specific needs to improve the quality of
life and maintain independence such as:
Adult Day Services,
Information and Referrals,
Meals on Wheels,
Life Enrichment Center,
Transportation Services,
In-Home Services, and
Case Management.
More than 250 volunteers help to support FSS
programs and services including, but not limited to, home delivered
meals, transportation, daily activities and special events. We offer
a wide range of opportunities for you to utilize your talents or to
simply provide a helping hand. To learn more about Fayette Senior

Fayette County Retired Educator’s Painting on
Display at the Fayette Senior Services Center

(5:35 p.m.) A painting by retired educator Sandy Holcomb was among those
chosen for display at the Fayette Senior Services Center. Holcomb’s work as
well as works by fifteen other artists will hang in the center for three

Membership Has its Rewards!
Center members can take advantage of the many free classes offered and
receive discounts for fee-based classes. Membership is not required to
register for classes, but discounts apply only to members. Membership is
required to participate in all other regular Center activities. The nominal
annual membership fee is $20 per year for Fayette County residents.
In addition to the new classes, the Center offers its members an array of
daily activities with new clubs, support groups, special events and public
service lectures being added regularly. Gift certificates are available and
can be used toward class fees, membership, meals and special events.
Membership Applications available at Fayette Senior Services Monday through
Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or can be downloaded at
