Peachtree City’s Future – the Planning Continues July 26
7/26/07 The Peachtree City
Planning Department and the City’s Comprehensive Plan Advisory Board began a
series of community forums to help update Peachtree City’s Comprehensive
Plan on Thursday, July 26th. Approximately 50 showed up to learn about
future plans for their community. "Stations" were set up for each of
Peachtree City's five villages and other areas which outlined challenges
pertaining to each area. Attendees were able to give input on the
plans. Residents are invited to participate in a survey on the Peachtree
City website at:
www.peachtree-city.org/plan
Georgia law sets up the
requirements for updating Comprehensive Plans, and Peachtree City is
providing an opportunity for as many residents as possible to express their
opinions and concerns about the coming 20 years in the community. More
