Paws Pound Pavement in the 2007 Doggie Dash
9/30/07 About 75 dogs and their family packs participated in the 2007 Doggie Dash held at Shakerag Park in Peachtree City. The 5K Walk, sponsored by the Georgia Heartland Humane Society and the Peachtree City Dog Park, is one of four fundraisers the group typically promotes during the year.
According to Georgia Heartland President Barbara Grosse this event will raise around $4000 to assist in the care for the abused, abandoned or neglected animals. Several Georgia Heartland Alumni who have found happy homes came out in support of the society.
As Barry from BarkBusters said, "God didn't make any bad dogs."
