Presents Proclamation from Governor Sonny Perdue to DAR
Georgia State Senator Ronnie
Chance was recently honored by the James Waldrop Chapter Daughters of the
American Revolution for his unyielding support of the United States
Constitution.Chance also
presented the chapter with a proclamation signed by Georgia Governor Sonny
Perdue, in which the governor thanked the DAR for their support in teaching

4/9/08 Senator Ronnie Chance dropped by the
Fayette County Republican Party's First Saturday Breakfast the morning after
the Legislative session ended (at midnight). He talks about the
controversial Senate bill that stirred Fayette County to make record numbers
of calls to the Governor. He also discusses some of the dollars that will be
coming to Fayette, procedures, the budget and other topics of interest to
Georgians.

From the State website: Ronnie Chance, a Republican,
was first elected to the Georgia Senate from Georgia's 16th District in 2004.
Sen. Chance represents Lamar,
Pike, and parts of Fayette, Monroe and Spalding counties. He serves on the
Veterans and Military Affairs, Reapportionment and Redistricting, Higher
Education and Economic Development committees. Sen. Chance is also
Secretary of the Finance Committee and serves on the Agricultural
Exposition Authority Overview Committee.
Sen. Chance has advised dozens of
elected officials including former Congressman Mac Collins, Congressmen Phil
Gingrey and Lynn Westmoreland, U.S. Senator Bob Dole, State School
Superintendent Kathy Cox, Public Service Commissioner Bobby Baker and scores of
other state, local, and county officers.
Chance has served at every level of
the Fayette County Republican party including Chairman for the 1995-96 term. In
1998, he was voted Fayette County Republican of the Year.
Sen. Chance grew up in south
Fayette County and attended Brooks Elementary School. He is a graduate of
Fayette County High School and Georgia State University’s School of Business
where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in marketing. He
founded Chance Public Relations in 1997 and is a member of the Peachtree City
United Methodist Church.
