Fayette GOP to Hold Precinct Mass Meetings
All Fayette County residents who are legally registered to vote and believe in the principles of the Republican Party are urged to participate in this process. Registration is without charge and will open at 9:00 AM on February 16, 2008 at the auditorium of Starr’s Mill High School, located at 193 Panther Path, Fayetteville, Georgia 30215. The Fayette County Republican Party Convention will convene at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at Peachtree City Christian Church, 500 Kedron Drive, Peachtree City, Georgia 30269, to elect Delegates and Alternates to the Third Congressional District and Georgia Republican Party State Conventions. The Third Congressional District Convention will convene at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at the Lodge Conference Center at Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia. The District Convention will elect three Delegates and three Alternates to the 2008 Republican National Convention to be held in St. Paul, Minnesota beginning September 1, 2008. The Georgia Republican Party State Convention will convene on Friday, May 16, 2008 in Columbus, Georgia and will elect 30 Delegates and 30 Alternates at Large to the 2008 Republican National Convention. Registration and participation at Precinct Mass Meetings, County Convention, District Convention, or State Convention is not allowed after the event’s designated start time.
