Booth Middle School
JC Booth Middle School Holds Junior Beta Club Ceremony
5/21/08 (6:57 a.m.) 109 new members were inducted into the J
C Booth Middle School National Junior Beta Club late last month
at McIntosh High School. Club officers for the 2008-2009 school
year were also installed during the candle lighting ceremony.
Honors were given to those Beta Club members who had performed
20 or more community service hours within the last 12 months. In
addition, the club presented the school's media center with a
$500 check. To be eligible for the Junior Beta Club, students
had to excel in their academics for two quarters during the
school year. This brought the school's Beta Club membership to
249 students.

Grade Chorus Has "Note"-worthy Talent
10/25/07 The JC Booth Middle
School 6th grade chorus demonstrated their vocal accomplishments last week.
Under the direction of Rachel Green, these young singers sang a variety of
songs to the patrons and parents. Interspersed between the vocalists were
piano solos performed by some of the students. Their next scheduled
performance is on December 3rd.
5/8/08 (10:15 p.m.) Students from
J.C. Booth Middle, Rising Starr Middle and Bennett’s Mill Middle schools wrote
about their ideas of democracy as participants in the 2007 Patriot’s Pen
